Greek airline companies reacted immediately by submitting a memorandum to the HCAA (Hellenic Civil Aviation Authority) and the CAA (Civil Aviation Authority) against the Safety Recommendation issued by the HARSIA (National Aviation Investigation Agency And Railway Accidents And Transportation Safety), which prohibits the takeoff and landing of helicopters outside of heliports and airports across the entire Greek territory.
