AviDisplay

AviDisplay is an AviTracer project – a compact LED panel for heliports, small airports, airfields, flight ops departments, or even a desktop. Live wind, live traffic, your whole fleet: everything you want to know in one display, readable from across the room, day or night. Sizes: 32×16 cm (Custom sizes like 64×32 cm and 96×48 cm will be available upon request).

What it shows

  • Live wind – a wind direction compass with a smooth-turning needle, wind speed and gusts, QNH (computed on-site from station pressure and altitude), temperature, and dual local/UTC clocks.
  • Weather alerts – FOG, RAIN, and lightning STRIKE warnings light up automatically; on a strike the compass ring flashes and the distance and number of strikes the last 30 min is shown.
  • Radar – TCAS-style traffic scope with heading arrows and a color-matched list of nearby aircraft, cycling distance, time enroute, and arrival time. Range selectable at 10, 20, or 30 NM.
  • Traffic alert – a full-screen alert for the nearest inbound aircraft of your fleet: registration, distance and bearing, altitude, speed, and time enroute.
  • Fleet board – your entire fleet with live status: airborne, on ground (with its current location), or offline; landing times, takeoff times and origins at a glance.
  • Flight events – full-screen banners for takeoff, landing, engine start, and zone entry/exit, with location, pilot name, and time of your fleet.
  • Pilot names – see who is flying in each aircraft of your fleet, on the radar, traffic alerts, and event banners, whenever the pilot has an AviTracer CrewID.
  • Sunrise and sunset – daily times page, a live countdown in the final seconds before each event, and a small celebration when the sun rises or sets.
  • Your logo – upload a custom image that appears between pages, with a smooth fade.
  • Always Current – Seamlessly updated over the air as new functions are released.

Easy to set up, easy to configure

  • 1-minute setup: power it on, scan the QR code, join your WiFi, and pick your location on the map. Done.
  • Settings from your phone, every option (pages, radar range, local/UTC times, alerts, image with your logo) applies instantly.
  • Demo mode, out of the box, AviDisplay showcases every page with sample data until you connect it.

What you need

  • AviTracer account – for your fleet’s live traffic, pilot names, and flight events.
  • AviWIND sensor – for live wind, pressure, temperature, and lightning data.

At least one of the above is mandatory for the operation of the AviDisplay.
