Helicopter operations can be safely integrated near busy airports, even if the heliports are within the ATZs. This study reviews examples, ATC management, regulatory frameworks, safety practices, and potential applications for LGAV.

Από πέρυσι το καλοκαίρι το reporting office του Βενιζέλου ζητάει από τα πληρώματα ελικοπτέρων, όταν έχουν αναχώρηση από ελικοδρόμια κοντά στο αεροδρόμιο, κατά τη κατάθεση του σχεδίου πτήσεως να βάζουν ως Departure Aerodrome to LGAV και εν συνεχεία στο Field 18 ως DEP/ το πραγματικό σημείο αναχώρησης. Supplementary information for ZZZZ landing sites
When departing or arriving from heliports or landing sites in the vicinity of airports especially within their CTR or ATZ, pilots filing flight plans using EuroFPL or other similar applications are advised to include in the remarks (RMK/) the supplementary information of their flight.
